Information materials issued by the Federal Government may be downloaded or ordered free of charge from the Publikationsversand der Bundesregierung (government publication office) using the “Order” button. A maximum of ten different items may be ordered at a time. If there are restrictions on the number of copies of any specific item that may be ordered, this information will be given.

Authorities and other public facilities wishing to order larger quantities should send a brief e-mail giving reasons to the Publikationsversand der Bundesregierung (government publication office) at

Information material ordered will be delivered free of charge.

Search

To use the search function, enter one or more terms in the "Search" box and use Enter to confirm. All information available as full text will be searched. If you enter more than one term, the search function will automatically link the terms using an AND operator.

The default setting sorts the hit list by relevance. The first results shown will have the search term in the title of the document, followed by those in which the search term appears in the sub-title, then the short text, and finally anywhere else in the pdf file. That is why the most recent publications will not necessarily be shown first. You can use the filter boxes above the hit list to refine your search by availability, publisher, topic area, type of media, language versions and time period.

You can sort the hit list chronologically by clicking "Sorted by". "Date descending" will show the most recent publications first.

Ordering

Use the "Order" button to add an article to your shopping cart. The "Your shopping cart" button will allow you to view all the articles you have ordered so far. To change the number of copies of an article click on the number box and select the correct number. To remove an article from your shopping cart, click "Delete" in the appropriate line. You may now either submit your order or add more articles. The contents of your shopping cart will be saved temporarily while you search for additional publications. You can return to your shopping cart at any time. When you close your browser or complete the ordering process your shopping cart will automatically be emptied.

You can complete your order by viewing "Your shopping cart" and clicking "Enter shipping address". Enter your personal data in the order form so that the publications can be sent to you. Compulsory fields are marked with an asterisk. You will then be informed about the terms and conditions of use of the information materials available. You must agree to the terms and conditions of use of the information materials for your order to be completed. Click "Check order" to review all the information you have entered. When the order process has been completed by clicking "Submit order" the system will send you an automatically generated e-mail confirming the details of your order.
