Germany is to step up its support for Iraq and Syria. Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Sigmar Gabriel has pledged an addition 235 million euros for humanitarian aid and stabilisation measures. At a meeting of the international anti-IS coalition he warned that the international support for the fight against IS must not decline.
