The Federal Cabinet has initiated an amendment to the Telecommunications Act for faster Internet and the latest mobile communications standard in Germany: The expansion of fibre optic and mobile networks will be in the overriding public interest in future and can therefore progress more quickly.
The members of the new Federal Government received their certificates of appointment on 6 May 2025.
