Federal Chancellor Scholz spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on the phone on Sunday. At the European Council meeting, Scholz and his European counterparts initiated new EU sanctions against Iran.

Video G7 to invest in global infrastructure

“The G7 want to make the world a better place with better infrastructure,” Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at the G7 summit in Elmau. The Group of Seven announced the launch of the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII). It builds on strong regional initiatives such as the EU Global Gateway Initiative and the work of all of its members.
