On 1 July 2020 Germany will take over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The logo presented by federal government spokesperson Steffen Seibert shows a Möbius strip – symbolic of the unity and connectedness that Europe creates. It doesn’t matter what side of the strip you start on, or what direction you take, you will always meet on the same side. And that is the strength of Europe.
