Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz made it clear in his policy statement that Germany and its allies stand for peace in Europe. “We will always advocate the peaceful resolution of conflicts. And we will not rest until peace in Europe is secured,” said Scholz in the Bundestag on Sunday.
