
Christine Lambrecht has been Federal Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection since June 2019, and since 20 May 2021 also Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. Prior to this, she was Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Finance. A lawyer by profession, she has been a member of the German Bundestag since 1998.
