In a discussion with experts from around the globe, Chancellor Angela Merkel urged her audience to remain open for new ideas and innovations – in the field of climate change mitigation as in peacebuilding and the sustainable management of natural resources. Germany and other developed nations have every reason to learn from others and regularly review their own capacity for innovation, she said.
