Peter Ramsauer is the new Federal Minister of Transport. He was born in 1954 in Traunwalchen in Upper Bavaria. Parallel to training as a master miller, he studied business studies and obtained a doctorate. Until 2009 he was Chairman of the CSU state group in the German Bundestag.
